It is recommended that you practice sleep hygiene. That’s basically just a cool way to see that you should practice good sleep habits, like going to bed at the same time each night and getting up at the same time each morning.

Other ways to help get a good night’s sleep include doing something relaxing before bedtime so that your mind can stop all that racing it does during your busy day and avoiding things like alcohol and nicotine before bed, which are both stimulants.

It’s not too hard to get enough sleep at night if you just set your mind to it. Adjust the lighting and temperature in your bedroom so it is conducive to sleep. Try doing something relaxing, like reading or meditation, before bed. And if you need a nap during the day, keep it around 20 minutes so you can still get to sleep at night!
